About Us

Medical laboratory means a place equipped for measurement and examination of materials derived from human body for the purpose of providing information on diagnosis, monitoring, prevention, or treatment of disease. SAMT is registered under the 1955/12 Act: of Travancore - Cochin Science, Literature act. This association mainly stands for the organization of the students of B.Sc MLT all over the area of activities, which lead to the promotion of course. The association helps the students of B.Sc MLT to gather and share their ideas and discus the matters relating the course.

The association aims in the academic standardization of the students career by conducting programs like seminars, group discussions, workshops, etc SAMT also aims for the public awareness about the B.Sc MLT course and its opportunities

This also aims to conduct social campaigns and welfare programs, diagnostic camps, blood donations etc at a minimal cost SAMT also aims to provide job opportunities in, teaching, clinical laboratories, research centers, diagnostic firms and related fields for its deserving students after successfully completing their course.
